Steps to complain about a lost phone on CEIR

1. First, file a police complaint/FIR or obtain a Lost Property Report from your local police station.
2. Contact your mobile operator (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, etc.) and request a duplicate SIM for your mobile number.
3. Keep the following details ready:
   • Mobile number used in the lost phone
   • IMEI number(s) of the phone (found on the box, bill, or purchase records)
   • Police complaint/FIR number
   • Identity proof
4. Open the official CEIR portal:
   • CEIR Portal
5. Click "Block Stolen/Lost Mobile".
6. Fill in:
   • Mobile device details (IMEI, brand, model)
   • Lost location and date
   • Personal details and alternate contact number
   • Police complaint details
7. Upload the required documents and submit the form.
8. After submission, note the Request ID for future tracking.
